A Website Helping You Find & Compare Transportation from Bus Companies Serving Erie
akronpartybuscompany.com is a comparison and quote website — not a bus company. Instead of spending an afternoon calling every transportation company in Erie one by one, you fill out a single form and instantly see vehicles, amenities, and rates from a large network of transportation providers serving Erie. The whole process takes under 30 seconds.
The network covers every group size and every occasion. A 15-passenger party bus works perfectly for a small birthday outing to the Warner Theatre or a bar crawl along State Street. A 40- to 56-passenger charter bus handles a company conference shuttle between downtown hotels and the Bayfront Convention Center.
A 15- to 35-passenger minibus fits neatly into a Lake Erie winery run east to North East, PA on a Saturday afternoon. Whatever combination of headcount, date, and itinerary you bring, the quote form sorts through the options and puts the right matches in front of you — prices included, no obligation to book.
Booking companies in the network are available at any hour, including weekends and late nights, to answer questions and help you nail down the details. Call 234-376-0400 any time or browse your options right on this website. Learn more on our about us page.

Erie Bus Amenities Built Around Your Trip
Party buses in the network typically come loaded with full-length bars, color-changing LED lighting, premium sound systems with Bluetooth, wraparound perimeter seating, and flat-panel TVs — the kind of setup that turns the ride to Erie Insurance Arena into half the event. Minibuses deliver powerful A/C and plush reclining seats, exactly what you want on a 20-minute run to Presque Isle when it is July and the lake humidity is up. Full-size charter buses add undercarriage luggage bays, onboard restrooms, overhead storage, and WiFi — essential for groups hauling gear to a multi-day corporate retreat or a school field trip to the Erie Zoo.
Amenities vary by vehicle, and the quote form lets you filter by what your group actually needs before you commit.
Air-conditioning
Wraparound Leather Seats

LED and Fiber Optic Lighting
Built-in Bar Areas With Ice Storage and Cup Holders

As an illustrative planning example, party bus rentals in Erie generally run as follows: 15- to 20-passenger party buses cost $175–$325/hour; 20- to 30-passenger party buses cost $225–$375/hour; 30- to 50-passenger party buses and minibuses cost $275–$450/hour; and full-size charter buses run $130–$275/hour or $1,100–$2,200/day. Pricing shifts based on your date, itinerary length, and vehicle type.

Why Finding a Erie Party Bus Rental Is Easier Here
You get a lot of options stacked in one place. Instead of calling several transportation companies and waiting for callbacks that may or may not materialize, the quote form on this website puts vehicles, photos, amenity lists, and pricing side by side in real time. One input, multiple matches — it removes the coordination headache before your trip even starts.
The network covers every type of Erie group trip. Need room for 40 people heading to an Erie Otters playoff game at Erie Insurance Arena — and a built-in bar for the pregame? There is a bus for that.
Coordinating a wedding shuttle loop between hotel blocks on Peach Street and a waterfront reception at Dobbins Landing? The quote form finds the right minibus at the right price. Running a conference shuttle circuit between I-90 corridor hotels and the Bayfront Convention Center?
Done.
Beyond comparison, the network includes booking companies that know group transportation logistics — available at any hour, including game nights and holiday weekends, to help you sort out pickup timing, headcount changes, and vehicle questions. Erie Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Getting through security and baggage claim at Erie International Airport (ERI) (4411 W 12th St, Erie, PA 16505) is enough of a production without adding a parking scramble on top of it. ERI is a single-terminal airport currently served by United, American, and Breeze Airways — compact enough that arrival coordination is straightforward once you know the rules. Curbside parking at ERI is prohibited; vehicles must be attended at all times during drop-off, and there is a designated cell-phone waiting area for pickups.
Your group coordinator should wait until every bag is off the carousel and everyone is assembled curbside before calling the bus in, so the vehicle is not staging on a live curb while the last few people trickle out of baggage claim.
For groups flying into Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Buffalo instead — a common situation when fares to ERI are limited — an Erie airport shuttle bus can run the transfer leg from whichever regional airport makes sense. Pittsburgh International is about 125 miles south on I-79, roughly 2 hours on clear roads. Buffalo Niagara International is about 90 miles east on I-90, closer to 2 hours with typical highway conditions.
A charter bus handles the luggage, eliminates the rental car shuffle, and drops your whole group at the door. Call 234-376-0400 to coordinate your airport transfer today.

Erie Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Erie's bar scene clusters enough to make a crawl easy, but spreads enough to make driving between stops a real pain. The Bayfront strip — Rum Runners (133 E Dobbins Landing), Woody's Backwater BARge & Grill (110 E Dobbins Landing), Pier 6 Rooftop Bar — sits a full ride from the downtown State Street cluster and the bars on upper Peach Street. On a summer Friday, parking near Dobbins Landing is claimed by 9 PM and rideshare wait times spike the moment the waterfront restaurants hit capacity.
A party bus in the 20- to 30-passenger range solves the logistics. The 20-passenger party bus comes with a built-in bar, color-changing LED lighting, and a Bluetooth sound system — which means the bachelorette party is going before the first stop. The bus stages at each venue, so the pickup is instant instead of a 15-minute wait in a dark parking lot.
Book your Erie bachelorette transportation early — summer weekends along the Bayfront fill fast.

Erie Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus arrival is one of the most memorable entrances you can give a celebration, and Erie has the event venues to back it up. Whether the night heads to a private venue in Millcreek Township, a dinner at a waterfront restaurant at Dobbins Landing, or a rooftop bar on State Street, a 15- to 25-passenger party bus keeps the energy going from the first pickup to the final drop-off.
For Sweet 16 and quinceañera groups, the 25-passenger party bus offers the space to seat the whole inner circle while the LED lighting, sound system, and wraparound seating do the work. You can filter for specific exterior colors to match your event theme when you browse options through the quote form. For adult milestone birthdays, the 40-passenger party bus adds a full bar setup and room to actually move.
Check out Erie birthday party bus rental options and call 234-376-0400 to lock in your date.

Erie Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Downtown Erie's event calendar fills fast. Erie Insurance Arena (809 French St, Erie, PA 16501) holds up to 9,360 for end-stage concerts — after its $47 million renovation and expansion that added a club level, luxury suites, and expanded concourses. On major show nights, the French Street parking garages fill before doors open.
The closest garage at 24 E 8th Street offers only 310 spaces at $4; the 496-space structure at 25 E 10th Street runs $3 — and "sold out" on both means a walk of six blocks or more in weather that can turn on you near Lake Erie.
The Warner Theatre (811 State St, Erie, PA 16501), a 2,250-seat restored 1931 venue, draws touring Broadway productions and headlining performers to a tight downtown footprint where the ramps on 8th and 10th Streets between State and French cap out early on double-event nights. An Erie concert bus rental drops your group at the State Street entrance and handles staging nearby — the post-show pickup is waiting instead of a 20-minute rideshare queue at midnight. Book your Erie concert transportation before the show sells out.

Erie Corporate Event Transportation
Corporate groups coming into Erie for conferences face one consistent friction point: the distance between I-90 corridor hotel clusters near W 12th Street and the Bayfront Convention Center (1 Sassafras Pier, Erie, PA 16507). The Bayfront Convention Center offers more than 128,000 square feet of event space — northwest Pennsylvania's largest banquet venue — and connects to the Sheraton Erie Bayfront and Courtyard Marriott Bayfront with nearly 400 hotel rooms combined. Still, when hundreds of convention attendees all try to drive the same corridor during morning rush, State Street backs up well before the first keynote.
On-site convention center parking is complimentary, but self-parking at the attached hotel garages runs up to $16/day; a dedicated shuttle loop puts every attendee on one vehicle, eliminates that per-person parking cost, and gets your group to the convention center entrance without the scramble.
For executive transfers, a Sprinter van or Sprinter van rental keeps the headcount tight and the schedule precise. For multi-team corporate outings at Waldameer Park (220 Peninsula Dr) or a team dinner along the Dobbins Landing waterfront, a minibus keeps everyone on one timeline. Call 234-376-0400 to discuss Erie corporate event transportation options and set up your shuttle schedule.

Erie Private Event Transportation Services
Every August, CelebrateErie transforms State Street from 4th to 10th Street into a three-day festival — the region's largest annual event, voted Best Festival in the Erie Reader's Best of Erie Awards. Concerts run across four stages simultaneously, the Food District and Family District pull thousands of attendees onto side streets, and State Street itself closes for the duration. Parking within six blocks of the main stage is gone by early Friday afternoon, and the surface street grid around downtown Erie locks up before the evening headliners take the stage.
A private charter bus or party bus drops your group at a staging point before closures set in and picks everyone up at a pre-arranged corner — no post-concert scramble through festival crowds back to wherever you parked on Peach Street.
The same approach applies to the Tall Ships Erie events at the Bayfront, which draw large crowds to a waterfront footprint that simply does not have vehicle capacity for major attendance spikes. Explore Erie private event transportation options and call 234-376-0400 to plan your shuttle.

Erie Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in Erie — late April through May — is the single busiest window for party bus rentals across Erie County and into Crawford, Warren, and Mercer counties. Every high school in the region holds prom within a compressed six-week stretch, and vehicle availability gets thin fast once spring break ends. For prom: book by January or expect premium pricing or no availability.
As an illustrative planning example, a typical 6-hour prom rental covering school pickup, a photo stop at Presque Isle State Park, venue drop-off, and an after-party return runs $1,400–$1,900 when booked 4–6 months in advance. Wait until April and the same itinerary runs $2,200–$2,800 or simply is not available. An 18-passenger party bus or 28-passenger party bus covers most prom group sizes with room for the outfits without anyone getting wrinkled.
Get Erie prom transportation locked in early — the price difference between planning ahead and scrambling in March is significant.

Erie School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers and chaperones in Erie County deal with the same set of headaches on every field trip: coordinating carpool logistics across multiple school zones, navigating I-90 construction zones, and finding oversized vehicle parking at destinations that were not designed for it. A charter bus from the network handles all three at once.
Field trips to the Erie Zoo (423 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16508) drop students at the main entrance on W 38th Street, with the bus staged in the adjacent lot. The Erie Maritime Museum (150 E Front St, Erie, PA 16507) sits at the Bayfront with parking options on Front Street — always worth confirming group bus staging when you book so arrival goes smoothly. Both venues offer group rates for schools; coordinating arrival time and bus staging in advance turns a chaotic morning into a clean one.
Full-size charter buses include TV screens, a PA system, overhead bins for backpacks, and onboard restrooms for longer drives. ADA-accessible buses are available on request. Book Erie school field trip transportation through the quote form and call 234-376-0400 for help with the logistics.

Erie Sporting Event Transportation
Game nights at UPMC Park (110 E 10th St, Erie, PA 16501) — home of the Double-A Erie SeaWolves, Detroit Tigers affiliate — draw up to 6,000 fans to a downtown ballpark where the nearest parking garage sits two blocks away on 10th Street. On Friday fireworks nights and bobblehead giveaway dates, that garage fills before the first pitch and metered spots on E 10th and State Street disappear shortly after. The SeaWolves permit drop-off in the cul-de-sac at the 9th Street entrance, but vehicles must vacate immediately after unloading — making a coordinated charter bus rental the cleaner play.
Your group arrives together, the postgame traffic on E 10th Street is handled, and nobody draws straws for the drive home.
For Erie Otters OHL games and major concerts at Erie Insurance Arena (up to 9,360 seats), the parking math is the same: multiple garages within two blocks, limited total supply on sellout nights. A charter bus or party bus to the arena keeps your group on one vehicle, eliminates the parking entirely, and means the postgame pickup is already confirmed. Book your Erie sporting event transportation now and call 234-376-0400 to get headcount and timing squared away.

Erie Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Wedding logistics in Erie get complicated fast when you are managing hotel blocks on Peach Street, a ceremony venue in Millcreek Township, and a reception at a waterfront space along the Bayfront — three locations, multiple timing windows, guests who have never navigated Erie before. A wedding shuttle bus takes the navigation out of everyone's hands.
For bridal party transfers on the day of the wedding, a Sprinter van rental keeps the group tight and on schedule from the prep location to the ceremony site. For the reception-to-hotel shuttle loop, a minibus running a repeating circuit means no guest is stranded at 11 PM trying to find a rideshare in a venue parking lot that is already emptying. Venues east of the city in the Lake Erie corridor — gardens and manor houses along Route 5 — require longer transfer legs; that is where a 30-passenger party bus earns its keep, keeping the wedding energy going on the ride back.
Explore Erie wedding transportation options and secure your date early — summer Saturdays in Erie go fast. Call 234-376-0400.

Erie Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Erie sits at the western edge of one of the most underrated wine corridors in the Northeast. The Lake Erie Wine Country trail covers more than 20 estate and commercial wineries across a 53-mile stretch from Harborcreek, PA east to Silver Creek, NY — and North East, PA, just 18 miles east of Erie on I-90, anchors the whole trail. Mazza Vineyards sits on Route 5 (East Lake Road), with South Shore Wine Company a short drive away on Route 89 and Mazza Chautauqua Cellars/Five & 20 Spirits and Brewing further east across the New York state line in Westfield.
Trying to hit three tasting rooms in one afternoon without anyone drawing the short straw for designated driver is the definition of a missed opportunity.
For brewery runs within Erie itself, the Lake Erie Ale Trail includes Lavery Brewing Company, Erie Ale Works, The Brewerie at Union Station, and Voodoo Brewing Company — four distinct taprooms spread across the city that are genuinely inconvenient to hit in succession by car when everyone wants to actually taste. A Erie winery tour bus rental keeps your group together for every stop and handles the drive back west on I-90 — no one calculating whether they are okay to drive, no designated driver sipping club soda at Mazza. Call 234-376-0400 and build your Lake Erie wine country itinerary today.

How does this website work?
akronpartybuscompany.com helps you compare bus rental options; it is not the bus company and does not rent, own, or operate vehicles. Check the FAQ page for more details on how the process works.
How much does a party bus cost in Erie?
Erie party bus rental prices vary based on vehicle size, the date, and how long you need the bus. As an illustrative planning example, typical ranges run: 15- to 20-passenger party buses run $175–$325/hour; 20- to 30-passenger buses run $225–$375/hour; larger party buses and minibuses (30–50 passengers) run $275–$450/hour; and full-size charter buses run $130–$275/hour or $1,100–$2,200/day. Prom season and CelebrateErie weekend push rates toward the top of those ranges.
Call 234-376-0400 for a free, all-inclusive price quote in under 30 seconds. See the party bus prices page for a full breakdown.
When is the busiest booking season for party buses in Erie?
Prom season (late April through May) is the single highest-demand window — Erie County and the surrounding counties all hold proms within the same six-week stretch, and bus availability tightens once school calendars are set in January. CelebrateErie weekend (mid-August) is the second major crunch, with multiple group events converging downtown simultaneously. Summer weekends on the Bayfront from Memorial Day through Labor Day run at consistently high demand.
Book at least 3–4 months out for any date in these windows.
What is the best bus size for a group of 20–30 people in Erie?
A 25-passenger party bus or 28-passenger party bus covers most groups in that range comfortably, with enough room for coats, bags, and the energy that comes with a full bus. For groups closer to 30 who need a bit more space, a 30-passenger party bus is the natural fit. If the group is primarily making straight-line transfers rather than celebrating on board, a minibus in the same capacity range lowers the per-person rate.
The quote form shows both options side by side so you can compare.
Can a charter bus take my group from Erie to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or Buffalo?
Yes — and these are some of the most practical uses of a charter bus out of Erie. Cleveland is roughly 100 miles west on I-90, about 90 minutes on clear roads. Pittsburgh is about 125 miles south on I-79, around 2 hours.
Buffalo is about 90 miles east on I-90, closer to 2 hours. A full-size charter bus handles the highway leg with undercarriage storage for luggage, onboard WiFi, and restrooms — which makes the drive considerably more useful than sitting in a rental car. See nearby city pages for Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo for more details.
Popular Erie Party Bus Destinations
Erie's mix of waterfront venues, sports facilities, performing arts spaces, and Lake Erie recreation sites gives your group plenty of ground to cover. Here are six of the most popular destinations in the network — with the bus logistics that actually matter for each stop.

Erie Insurance Arena
Erie Insurance Arena (809 French St, Erie, PA 16501) seats up to 9,360 for end-stage concerts and 6,716 for OHL Erie Otters hockey games. After its $47 million renovation and expansion, the arena added a new club level, luxury suites, 50 TV monitors, and fully expanded concourses. On sold-out show nights, the 1,000-space Erie Insurance Parking Garage at $5 per event and the 310-space garage at 24 E 8th Street at $4 both fill well before doors.
The 25 E 10th Street garage (496 spaces at $3) gives overflow capacity but adds a longer walk. A charter bus drops your group on French Street and eliminates the parking question entirely — the pickup after the show is already confirmed.
Address: 809 French St, Erie, PA 16501 Phone: (814) 452-4857

UPMC Park — Erie SeaWolves
UPMC Park (110 E 10th St, Erie, PA 16501) is the 6,000-seat home of the Double-A Erie SeaWolves, a Detroit Tigers affiliate playing a full April-through-September schedule. Summer game nights — particularly Friday fireworks games and promotional giveaway dates — sell out months in advance and claim every metered space on E 10th and State Street by the second inning. The SeaWolves permit drop-off in the cul-de-sac at the 9th Street entrance, with immediate vacate required after unloading.
Group tickets are available for parties of 20 or more with a nonrefundable deposit due at the time of reservation. A charter bus keeps your whole crew together from pickup to the final out. We recommend checking the official UPMC Park information page for current event-day logistics.
Address: 110 E 10th St, Erie, PA 16501 Phone: (814) 456-1300

Presque Isle State Park
Presque Isle State Park (301 Peninsula Dr, Erie, PA 16505) is a 3,200-acre sandy peninsula with 11 beaches, a 13-mile paved multi-use trail, the historic Presque Isle Lighthouse, and one of the most recognizable silhouettes on Lake Erie. In peak summer — late June through August — Beach 1 parking fills before 10 AM on Saturdays, and the single access road on Peninsula Drive backs up significantly once Beach 6 reaches capacity. Bus groups should confirm current staging and vehicle access policies with the park before arrival, as designated vehicle access points can shift by season.
A bus drops your group at a beach access point and handles staging while you swim, hike, or ride the paved loop trail.
Address: 301 Peninsula Dr, Erie, PA 16505 Phone: (814) 833-7424

Warner Theatre
Warner Theatre (811 State St, Erie, PA 16501) is Erie's signature performing arts venue — a meticulously restored 1931 Art Deco house with 2,250 upholstered seats, 1,528 on the orchestra level and 722 in the balcony. The Erie Philharmonic performs its regular season here, and major touring Broadway productions make the Warner a consistent stop on the Northeast corridor. Parking ramps on 8th Street between State and French and on 10th Street between State and French run $3–$5 per event through the Erie Parking Authority, but available spaces depend entirely on whether Erie Insurance Arena two blocks north has a simultaneous event.
A party bus drops your group at the State Street entrance and eliminates the parking calculation entirely.
Address: 811 State St, Erie, PA 16501 Phone: (814) 452-4857

Erie Maritime Museum & U.S. Brig Niagara
Erie Maritime Museum (150 E Front St, Erie, PA 16507) is home to the U.S. Brig Niagara, the reconstructed flagship from the 1813 Battle of Lake Erie — one of the most significant naval victories in American history and the battle that secured American control of the Great Lakes. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday 9:30 AM–4:00 PM and Sunday 1:00–5:00 PM in season (hours shift in the off-season), with group rates available for tours by reservation. The Brig operates as an active sail training vessel in summer, so calling ahead to confirm the ship is in port (rather than on a training voyage) is genuinely worth doing before you build a field trip around it.
The museum sits at the foot of State Street at the Bayfront, steps from Dobbins Landing. Group vehicle access and bus staging should be coordinated directly through the museum.
Address: 150 E Front St, Erie, PA 16507 Phone: (814) 452-2744

Lake Erie Wine Country
North East, PA — 18 miles east of downtown Erie on I-90 — anchors the Lake Erie Wine Country trail, a 53-mile wine corridor covering more than 20 wineries from Harborcreek, PA to Silver Creek, NY. Mazza Vineyards (11815 E Lake Rd, North East, PA 16428) is the flagship, with a full food menu and a tasting room that draws visitors from Pittsburgh and Buffalo on summer weekends. South Shore Wine Company is a short drive away on Route 89, and Mazza Chautauqua Cellars/Five & 20 Spirits and Brewing sits further east in Westfield, NY.
On summer Saturdays, winery parking on East Lake Road fills by noon and the two-lane road backs up between properties. A party bus running east on I-90 and looping through the wineries on Lake Road keeps your group together for every tasting and handles the drive back to Erie without anyone calculating whether they are okay to get behind the wheel.
